Her work with ceramics, and more specifically with Celadon, was inspired by an ancient Chinese technique. Celadon is very popular in Asia because it looks like jade, a stone that's regarded as holy.

Perla Valtierra works between Paris and Mexico. She uses traditional techniques and traditional materials to produce objects for everyday use.  To create her collections of ceramics, she works with different types of clay thus making unique, handmade products in limited quantities.
